Maria M. Antigua, born August 25, 1946, peacefully entered eternal rest on her 79th birthday, August 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of her husband and children. Maria was the devoted wife of Antonio Antigua. She was the heart of her family—beloved mother of Miriam, Yubelky, Joselyn, Yngri, Julibert, and Noel, and nurturing guardian to her niece Marienny, whom she cherished as her own daughter. Grandmother of Ivan, Darwin, Alfredo, Magdaline, Joseph, Angel, Justin, Angel Gabriel, Amanda, Alisha, Mariam, Jacob and Noah. Great-Grandmother of Aurora, Ivy, Valentina, and Isabella. Maria's life was defined by love, kindness, and unwavering strength.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, CT 06614. A Funeral Service Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Saint Charles Borromeo Church, Bridgeport, CT, followed by burial at St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck, CT.
