Marguerite Hornak Skuba, age 94, of DeBary, Florida, beloved wife of the late Nicholas Skuba, passed away on July 27, 2017 in her home. Marge was born in Bridgeport on July 13, 1923 to the late Adam and Anna (Churma) Hornak and has been a life long area resident. She was a retired legal secretary for the Law Offices of Attorney Edward Behuncik, and had previously worked for the household of Herman Isaacs. Survivors include her devoted children, Marguerite Ruot of Florida, and Robert Skuba and his wife Diane of Newtown, 7 grandchildren, Jeff Kornhaas, Gary Richard Ruot (Jennifer), Margie Gunn (Bob), Robert Skuba Jr, Diane Skuba, Alan John Lukachina, and Linda Sisk, 5 great-grandchildren, Craig, Robert, Collin, Nathan, Gary III, and Haley. She is also survived by her loving nieces, Mary and Kathy Servilla, DeeDee Lawrence, and MaryAnn Sangster, and special nephew, Robert Palceski, and several other loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Marge was pre-deceased by, her son, Nicholas Adam Skuba, daughter, MaryBeth Donohue, grandson, Adam James Luckachina and a son-in-law, Gary Ruot. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, August 4 ^th at 10:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 11am in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church Trumbull for a Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 – 10:30am.
