Margaret Fedorko Jankura age 98 of Stratford, the widow of John Jankura Jr, passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2010 in Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford. Mrs. Jankura, a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft was born on January 28, 1912 in Bridgeport to the late John and Julia (Kamenicky) Fedorko and has been a life long area resident. Margaret lived a life of selfless devotion to her family. "Rest in peace Mom". Memory Eternal. Survivors include her beloved daughter Joyce Pike and her husband Robert, daughter-in-law Nancy Jankura, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren John Jankura, Chris (Libby) Pike, Laura and Jeffrey, Jill (Chris) Bilcheck, Nicholas, Zachary and Katerina, Michael (Gina) Jankura, Matthew and Emily, Lisa (John) Vaccino, Johnny and Emma, Julie (Keith) Shadman, Caroline and Alexander, a brother John Fedorko, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Robert Weaver, sisters-in-law Helen and Mildred Fedorko, Anna Kosh and Dorothy Frizell and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her son Richard Jankura, brothers Michael, John, Stephen, Andrew, and William Fedorko, sisters Julia Kravec, Mary Gabrys and Elizabeth Fuchs. Friends are invited to attend a Requiem Funeral Service on Thursday April 15th at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist 364 Mill Hill Ave Bridgeport. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. At the family's request calling hours have been omitted.
