Margaret Polascik Horvath, age 83 of Lakewood, New Jersey, formerly of Bridgeport passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2007 in Jefferson Hospital Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Horvath the widow of John J. Horvath was born in Freeland, PA to the late Michael and Mary (Perkosky) Polascik and has been a Lakewood resident for the past five years prior to that living in Bridgeport. She was a retired employee of 3030 Park Health Care Center and was formerly employed by the G.E. Company and D.M. Read's Department Store. Survivors include her beloved children Mary Ann Plavcan and her husband Thomas of Lakewood, NJ, Linda Swaniger of Irvine, CA, John M. Horvath and his wife Grace of Claremont, NH, and Edward Horvath and his wife Sharon of Niceville, FL; 11 cherished grandchildren; two sisters Mildred Brown of Toms River, NJ, and Mary Lonoconus of Derby, CT; a brother Michael Polascik of Omaha, NE and several nieces and nephews. A twin sister Martha Vacendak predeceased her. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 9:00am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church Nichols for a Divine Liturgy with the Office of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 pm Panichida will be at 4:00 pm.
