Obituary

Margaret R. Gadala Gregory, age 84, of Wallingford, the beloved wife of Louis W. Gregory, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in her home. Margaret, a retired shipping clerk for WARNACO, was born in Granville, New York to the late Michael and Helen (Krafcik) Gadala and has been a long time area resident. She was a life long, founding member of St. John's Orthodox Church-Stratford and their Choir, and the ACRY Ladies Guild. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband include her devoted daughters Barbara Gregory and Patricia Papillo and her husband Nicholas all of Wallingford, 4 cherished grandchildren Matthew Papillo and his wife Carrie, Bryan Papillo and his fiancé Kristel Jackson, Rachel Reeves and her husband Christian, Joshua Alderman and his companion Emily Azzolina, 4 great-grandchildren Nicholas, Conner, Kayla and Shianna, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by brothers John and Michael Gadala, and sisters Mary Kroll, Pani Ann Sabak, Helen Zysk and Katie Gadala. A Requiem Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, April 29th at 10 a.m. in St. John's Orthodox Church 1194 Broadbridge Avenue Stratford with Very Rev. Peter Paproski officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery; Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday at the Church from 3-5 p.m. A Panachida Service will take place at 5p.m. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Margaret's memory to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Road Branford, CT. 06405.
