Margaret Mason (Somers) DeLorme, 92, a lifelong resident of Stratford, CT passed away in her Florida home with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles L. Somers and her second, Fred DeLorme, daughter, Barbara Somers, and brothers, Gerald P. Mason, and John "Jack" Mason. Survivors include her son, Robert Somers and his wife, Lena of Monroe, CT, daughter, Catherine DeLorme Prinner and her husband Carl of Florida, brother James Mason, and sister, Shirley Pyatak both of Stratford, CT, the grandchildren she raised, James Dwyer of Baytown, TX, and Melissa Dwyer Sosnoski of Colchester, CT, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 22nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Friday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. A very charitable person, in lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Margaret's memory to her favorite charities, Wounded Warriors, Make-A-Wish, and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
