Marco Alexander Valdez-Alfaro, age 21, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2018 in his home. He was born on August 19, 1996 in Norwalk to Freddy and Jinnette (Alfaro) Valdez and has been a lifetime resident of Stratford. Marco graduated from Stratford High School class of 2014 and was a Barista at Starbucks. In addition to his parents he is survived by 2 sisters, Mariajose Valdez and Sabrina Valdez, his maternal grandparents. Victor and Annabell Alfaro, his paternal grandmother Gregoria Gudiel and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Emeterio Valdez. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in 10:30AM DIRECTLY at St James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
