Manny Rocha, 59, passed peacefully on April 13, 2026. After a courageous three-year battle with cancer, Manny left this world having given his fight everything he had.

He was known as someone who would give you the shirt off his back, a person you could always count on, and someone who never failed to bring laughter to those around him. To say he will be missed feels like a profound understatement.

Manny is lovingly survived by his son, Manny; his daughter, Alysia (husband Dennis); and his two beloved grandchildren, Ella and Dakota, who meant the world to him. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Rocha (Louis); his brothers, Victor (Chris) and Jose (Wendy) Rocha; his sisters, Elizabeth (Michael) Kane and Jenny Rocha; along with many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is pre-deceased by his father, Manuel Rocha.

When you think of Manny, we ask that you remember his smile, his laughter, his generosity, and the passion with which he lived his life.

Family and friends are invited to join us for a Memorial Mass for Manny at St. James Church in Stratford on April 23rd at 10:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at Vazzy’s in Bridgeport at 1:00 PM.
