Maggie Pasnick Uhelsky, age 91, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late George Uhelsky, passed away on April 26, 2018 in Northbridge Health Center, Bridgeport. Maggie was born on July 24, 1926 in Oak Hill, West Virginia to the late David and Jennie (Duda) Pasnick and has been a long time area resident. She was retired after forty-three years, from Bryant Electric. Maggie was a member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church in Nichols, and was past-president of their Ladies Guild. Survivors include her devoted son, Bill Uhelsky and his wife Dorothy of Stratford, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Maggie was pre-deceased by her brother, John and sister, Stella. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 30 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11 a.m. in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, Trumbull for a Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Sunday from 2-5p.m. Panachida at 3:30.
