Lynne M. Kenney, age 57, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on January 1, 2021. She was born December 5th, 1963 in Bridgeport to Eleanor (Hoffman) Mullens and the late Donald A. Mullens. Lynne was a former C.N.A. at  Bridgeport Healthcare, former owner of The Wishing Well and as a teenager worked at The Stratford Dog Pound. Her two passions were helping others and caring for animals or homeless pets. Lynne Loved to cook, hosted cookouts or picnics for her family, friends and neighborhood. She was an amazing cook. She loved football and her team the Patriots, playing Bingo and from time to time went to the Casino. She adored her nieces and nephews and attended their baseball games, recitals , church or school events. She loved taking her brother Donnie to the Fire truck Musters and Car shows. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving mother Eleanor Mullens, Step Father Winston Boulier, boyfriend Kevin Shea, Sister Kathleen Stolz, Godson/nephew Ryan Schreckengost, nephews Zackary Schreckengost, Justin Gorske. Nieces Casie-Ann (James) Goodwin, Kenzie Goodwin and Stormey Ford. An Aunt Alice Miner and many beloved cousins. She also leaves behind her two beloved furbabies Sunny, her Cat(Sunny bunny) and her dog Chewy(chewbear). Lynne was predeceased by her husband Kevin R. Kenney, Father Donald A. Mullens and Brother Donald R. Mullens. She will be missed by many and her family gatherings and love for family, others and pets lives will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the family in help for the burial arrangements. Services will be private due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.
