Lucy Lynch, age 83, a resident of Christiana, PA, died peacefully on June 3, 2025, one day before her 84thbirthday, surrounded by her loving and devoted daughter and son in law.

Lucy was born in Pielnia, Poland, to the late Tadeusz Sobolewski and Kazimiera Folta.  She came to the United States when she was only 7 years old.  She resided in Stamford and Seymour, CT, before moving to Christiana, PA, where she and her husband lived with her daughter and son in law.  She loved the beautiful and peaceful farmland views and the fresh produce, especially during strawberry season.

Lucy worked for several years for Stamford Savings Bank, where she became a head teller.  She also worked for several years, in various departments, for Pitney Bowes, including the Credit Union and Cashiers, until she retired in 1996.

Lucy loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and watching Hoarders and Dr. Pimple Popper.  She also loved doing counted cross stitch and going to the Dutch Apple Dinner and the Sight and Sound Theaters.

Lucy was predeceased by her husband, James J. Lynch, Jr.

Lucy is survived by her daughter, Maureen Bartolo and her son in law, Glenn Bartolo of Christiana, PA, her granddogs Max and Mickey and her brother Ted Sobolewski (Lisa), as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, at 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, CT.  A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 12:30 pm in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Lucy.
