Lorraine H. Lubben Hudak, age 89, of Trumbull, the widow of Dr Robert S. Hudak passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Monticello, Iowa to the late William and Anna (Harms) Lubben, she has resided in the area most of her life. Lorraine was a veteran of the US Army Nurse Corps during WWII and later worked for Remington Arms and Harvey Hubbell as an RN. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, a daughter Barbara Ann Hudak, a brother Irvin Lubben and 2 sisters Esther Falconer and Arlene Griffith. Survivors include a devoted son Stephen Hudak and his wife Catherine Young of McLean, Virginia, a sister Shirley Schneiter , a brother Robert Lubben both of Monticello, Iowa and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30 AM in St James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford Friends may call on Monday from 9 – 10 AM. Those desiring may make donations in Lorraine's memory to St. James Church.
