Lillian M. Rushen, age 86, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late John S. Rushen, passed away on July 6, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital.

Lillian was born in Bridgeport on October 6, 1936, to the late Carl and Hazel (Cutler) Morin and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a retired beautician for St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull, and an active member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her devoted sons, John S. Rushen Jr. of Bridgeport, and Thomas Rushen of Stratford, a sister, Claudia Thurston and her husband Dan of Harwinton, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lillian was pre-deceased by her son, Robert.

Visitation on Monday July 10th    from 4-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

Funeral services on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 9 a.m.in the funeral home and 10:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church,612 Grand Street Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
