Lillian J. Mierzejewski, age 93, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Henry Mierzejewski, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023, with family by her side.

Lillian was born in Bridgeport, CT on December 18, to the late Michael and Mary (Bekech) Turchik and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Harding High School and just celebrated her 75th class reunion. A retired Medical Assistant, Lillian was also a long-time member of St. John's Orthodox Church in Bridgeport where she was a member of the Senior "R" Club. She was also a former member of the Stratford Civitan Club. She loved spending time with her family and to be a part of all family gatherings and celebrations.

Survivors include her devoted children, James Mierzejewski and his wife Nancy and Judy Berard and her husband Rick all of Milford, 3 cherished grandchildren, Mark Mierzejewski and Alexis and Emily Berard, brother-in-law, Matt Pekata and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Lillian was predeceased by her brother, Frank Turchik and sister, Eleanor Pekata.

Visitation on Wednesday, January 3rd, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.

A Requiem Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a donation in memory of Lillian to the St. John's Senior "R" Club Scholarship Fund.
