Leslie Vass age 70 of Shelton passed away on Monday December 8, 2008 in Griffin Hospital. Mr. Vass, a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Army was the proprietor of L.S. Company, Electrical Engineering Services. He was born on January 26, 1938 in Miskolc, Hungary son of the late Steven and Maria (Toth) Vass and came to the United States in 1957. Survivors include his beloved wife Carol Stramski Vass, his devoted sons Matthew Vass and his wife Katherine of Stratford and Robert Vass of New Haven, 3 brothers Steven Vass of Florida, George and Andrew Vass and a sister Aliz Meszaros all of Hungary and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday December 13, 2008 at 10 a.m. in St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment with full military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery Shelton. Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
