Leona Ann Linehan Bayus, age 79, of Stratford, passed away peacefully Sunday November 18, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born in Bridgeport, to her beloved late parents James and Mary Linehan on March 12, 1933. Leona graduated from St Johns Commercial High School and Warren Institute. She was a former executive secretary of Avco Lycoming and a legal secretary for John R. Curran Attorney At Law. Leona was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and also loved cooking and baking for and being with her family. She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend Robert R. Bayus, as well as daughter Cathleen A Cicarelli of Milford, son Robert G Bayus of Stratford and beloved grandson Thomas R Cicarelli. In addition to her beloved parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother James Linehan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 21st at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church 298 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. At her family's request calling hours have been omitted. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
