Leo Wologodzew of Shelton, beloved husband of Marina Zeiger Wologodzew, passed away on September 22, 2025, in his home. Leo was born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, to the late Lev and Ekaterina (Kamensky) Wologodzew. He was a retired Sr. Designer/Engineer for Pitney Bowes, who loved square dancing and doing DIY home projects. In addition to his beloved wife Marina of 66 years, he is also survived by his daughter Cathy Grace of Shelton and his son Alex Wologodzew and life partner Antonia Ambrose of Wilton.  He is also survived by; his granddaughter Sasha, her husband Justin, and great-grandson Hunter; grandchildren Evan, Christopher, Emma, and Julia; sister-in-law Eleanor Porteous; niece Maria Peavy, her husband Dexter, and several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Leo was pre-deceased by his brother Walter Wolog and sister-in-law Irene Welser.

Friends may call on Monday September 29th from 4-6 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Pannikhida will take place at 6:45 pm in The Presentation of Christ in the Temple Russian Orthodox Church, 5-Wheeler Terrace, Stratford. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday September 30th at 8:00 am, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Interment in Novo-Diveevo Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY.
