WILSON – Lawrence W. Wilson, age 65 of Stratford passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2007 in Gardner Heights Health Care Center Shelton. Mr. Wilson, a veteran of the U. S Marine Corp., was born in Bridgeport to the late Lawrence and Mildred (Gillick) Wilson and was raised by his aunt and uncle Margaret and William Kiely. He was a graduate of Stratford High School and Housatonic Community College, and was retired from the admissions department of Connecticut Business Institute. He was a member of the Men's Club at Newtown United Methodist Church and was a former Boy Scout Leader in Devon and was an avid duckpin bowler. Survivors include his 2 beloved daughters Alese Tait and her husband Robert and Danielle Wilson, 4 grandchildren Graham, James, William and Bay all of Stratford and a nephew Gary Brophy. A memorial service will take place on Friday October 12th at 12 noon in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Rev. Robert Whitfield officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may greet his family on Friday from 11a.m.-12 noon.
