Lawrence John Morra Jr., age 19 of Stratford passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009. Born in Stamford, CT to Lawrence John Morra Sr. and Diane Teresa Farello Perruzzi, Larry has resided in Stratford for the past 15 years. He was a graduate of the Frank Scott Bunnell High School and was a sophomore at the University of Hartford studying Criminal Justice; his aspiration was to be in law enforcement. Larry was an avid Yankee and Giant fan, who had a love for cars and enjoyed working out at the gym with his friends. When out of school he had worked for the Fairfield Board of Education' maintenance department and also with his stepfather's company Rapco Sheet Metal. Larry will be missed very much by his mother (her #1 man), his father (his best friend), his family and friends. He was a very smart, friendly, popular and outgoing kid full of energy and loved life. Survivors include his parents Diane Farello Perruzzi and her husband Roy of Stratford; Lawrence John Morra Sr. and his wife Dorann of Mahopac, NY, a sister Nicole Morra of Stratford; stepbrothers: Joseph Perruzzi and Tyler Woods; stepsisters Casey Perruzzi, Cori Perruzzi and Hailey Woods; his maternal grandfather Nicholas Farello of Trumbull, CT; step-grandparents Carmen and Shirley Perruzzi of Myrtle Beach and Joseph and Maria Duffy of Mahopac, NY; and his godmother Teresa Aiello of Plainview, NY. Larry was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents Lorenzo and Rose Morra, his maternal grandmother Anita Farello and his uncle and godfather Thomas Farello. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in St. John Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Rd, Monroe, CT. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 1-8 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, CT.
