It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lauren Margaret Kopko, age 40, of Stratford, beloved daughter of Gerald and Elizabeth (Moccaie) Kopko. Lauren passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Born in Bridgeport on January 25, 1984, Lauren was a lifelong resident of Stratford. She worked as a Project Manager at Breyer Horses in New Jersey, where she was valued for her dedication and hard work. Lauren's professional achievements were matched by her warmth and generosity, making a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Lauren is survived by her loving parents, Gerald and Elizabeth Kopko; her cherished sisters, Sarah (John) Kozak of Orange and Katie (Michael) Lozanov of Derby; her nephew, Logan Kozak of Orange; and her beloved pugs, Mazie and Maggie. She will also be deeply missed by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Moccaie of Orange; her uncles, Michael (Pamela) Kopko of Newington, and Gregory Kopko of Tennessee; her great aunt, Melania (Edward) Moyher of Stratford; as well as her aunts, Laura Moccaie of Orange and Karen Cervone of Naugatuck, and several cousins. Lauren was predeceased by her grandmother Dorothy Kopko.

A visitation to honor Lauren's memory will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Panikhida service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
