Keith J. Schauwecker, "Wacko", age 66, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on November 20, 2016 in his home. Keith, a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of Viet Nam, was born in Bridgeport to the late John E. and Mildred (Moroz) Mate Schauwecker and has been a life long area resident. He was a retired Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Keith was a graduate of Harding High School. He was a member of the Bridgeport Marine Corp League, where he was the Sergeant at Arms and a member of the Color Guard, he was also a member of Port 5 in Bridgeport serving as a member of their Veteran's Council and Color Guard. Keith was an avid Raiders Fan, and was a former member of Stonybrook JAWS and Ale House Softball Teams. Survivors include his devoted sister, Jacqueline Coen, nephew, Kevin Coen and his wife Tara, nieces, Janice Edmonds and her husband Lance, Jennifer Ferrara and her husband Todd, and Nicole Newman, brother-in-law, Chris Newman and several other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Keith was pre-deceased by his sister, Doreen Newman. Friends may greet his family on Tuesday, November 29 ^th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
