Kathleen (Kay) Zorka, age 102, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late John M. Zorka, passed away on November 25, 2023, in her home.

Kay was born in Bridgeport on December 12, 1920, to the late Nicholas and Anastasia (Zboroluk) Nykorchuk and had been a lifelong area resident. She attended the University of Bridgeport, where she was the first women to receive a certificate in the Insurance Program. Kay was the proprietor of Zorka Insurance-Real Estate and Travel Co. She was a longtime active member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bridgeport and was involved in many of the church activities and held many offices.

Survivors include her devoted daughter, Kathleen Danilowicz and her husband Michael of Stratford, 3 cherished grandchildren, John Banot, Tamara and Aleksandr Danilowicz, sister, Dorothy Lewis of South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Kay was pre-deceased by her daughter, Janet, brothers, Paul and Stephen, and sisters, Mary Jurgens, and Mildred Buskey.

A Requiem Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, December 1st at 10 a.m. meeting directly at St. Mary's Ukrainian Church 10 Oakwood St Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.

Visitation on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
