Katherine Pauline Plavnicky age 74 of Stratford passed away suddenly in her home on Friday November 17, 2006. Katherine, a retired secretary for Sikorsky Aircraft, was born in Bridgeport to the late Michael and Katherine Hudak Plavnicky and has been a life long area resident. Survivors include her brother John Plavnicky and his wife Doris, her sisters-in-law Marge and Anna Plavnicky and several loving nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Joseph and Rudolph Plavnicky and sisters Margaret Plavnicky and Agnes Shypula. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday November 21st at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Monday (Today) from 4-7 p.m. Panachida on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
