Katherine Pavlik Henetz, age 96, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Michael Henetz, passed away on her birthday, March 9, 2024.
Katherine was born in Czechoslovakia on March 9, 1928, to the late Michael and Olga (Lokaj) Pavlik and immigrated to the United States as a young child. She was retired from the General Electric Company and was a lifetime member of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist in Bridgeport.
Survivors include her devoted sons, Michael Nicholas Henetz and his wife Mary of Stratford, and Robert John Henetz and his wife Marilyn of San Diego, CA, cherished grandchildren, Kara Elizabeth Henetz, Michael Kenneth Henetz, Tania (Bryan) Ivory, and Robert Henetz, great-grandchildren, Thomas and Imogen Ivory, brother, John Pavlik and his wife Gail, sisters-in-law, Minnie and Ann Pavlik, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Katherine was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Robert and sister, Joan.
The Henetz family would like to thank the staff of Bishop Wicke Health Center, for their kind and compassionate care.
Visitation on Saturday, March 16th, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Requiem Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
