Julia Marie Pirelli, age 81 of Milford passed away on Friday, October 04, 2013 at Gardner Heights HCC in Shelton. Born in the Bronx, New York to the late John and Mary (Tocco) Castellanete, she has been a lifelong area resident. Julia worked in the World Trade Center and was the owner of Family Food in Milford. She was a former member of the Stratford Republican Town Committee and was one of the founders of the Bunnell High School Marching Band Parents Association. Julia's greatest joy was her family and loved her time spent with them, cooking and taking care of their needs. She was the life of the party and will be greatly missed by all. She is the beloved mother of her daughters: Joann Lusignan and her husband Brian, of Stratford, Frances Wellner of Ansonia and Mary Ellen Wojiski of Milford. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Joanna Caserta, Jessica Wojiski, Amos "Chip" Wellner, Christopher Lusignan and Michael Lusignan and his wife Jessica, sisters Frances Lanza and her husband Salvatore, of the Bronx, NY and Patricia Hricz and her husband, Albert, of Milford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Stratford, and a brother, John Castellanete. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 10:15AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 11:00AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 407 Second Hill Lane, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Nichols Village Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
