Jule (Kuzman) Goffer, 94, of Shelton, Conn., the beloved wife of the late Stephen E. Goffer, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Conn. Born in Taylor on Feb. 11, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Justina Kuzman. She was a retired employee of Eureka Speciality Printing in Scranton. She moved to Meriden, Conn., in 1967, and later to Shelton in 1990. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish in Huntington, Conn., and a member of St. John the Baptist's Ladies Guild in Trumbull, Conn. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking pies, and cooking pierogies and other traditional Ukrainian food. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and was an animal lover. Survivors include her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Bill Medalis, of Shelton; grandson Christopher, of Budapest, Hungary; granddaughter Kara Ann, of Shelton; niece Barbara Pane and her husband, Joe, of Taylor; nephew Terry Kuzman and his wife, Georgeanne, of Somers, Conn.; niece Sharon Kuzman of Blue Bell, Pa.; niece Diana Kuzman of Stratford, Conn.; and grand-niece Justina Manko of Stratford. She was predeceased by one daughter, Sandra J. Goffer-Revell. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at St. Lawrence Parish in Shelton on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at noon. Internment will be at St. Vladimir's Cemetary in Scranton, PA on Friday February 23 rd at 11 a.m..
