Joshua Hilmar Schmidt-Roberson, age 23, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 1, 2013. Joshua, a landscaper for Complete Property Maintenance Inc, and an employee of Serve Pro both of Florida, was born in New Haven, beloved son of Lisa Schmidt and Ronald P. Roberson, He had attended Shelton High School, and was a graduate of Sequoia High School, Maricopa, Arizona. Joshua was passionate about monster trucks, riding quads and dirt bikes, and was a member of the Milford Riders Motorcycle Club, he was also a talented artist and an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors in addition to his beloved parents, include his devoted stepfather Wally Slater of Seymour, his maternal grandparents Hilmar and Charlotte Schmidt of AZ, his aunt and godmother Pamela Carlson and her husband Ken, aunt Deborah Schmidt-Lilly and her husband Matthew, special cousin Brogan Lilly, paternal grandmother Irene S. Roberson of Milford, aunt Susan M. Roberson, uncle R. Patrick Roberson and his wife Ellen, cousins Shayne R. Chaney, Kelly E. Roberson, R. Patrick Roberson Jr. Matthew D. Roberson, and a large close extended family. Joshua was pre-deceased by his paternal grandfather Robert P. Roberson, and his aunt Laura A. Chaney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9th at 9:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Avenue Huntington. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
