Josephine Fillippino De Salle age 96 of Bridgeport, the widow of William De Salle, passed away on Monday January 24, 2011 in Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford. Mrs. De Salle, a homemaker was born in Valhalla, NY to the late Quinto and Elvira (Pierini) Fillippino and has been a long time area resident. Survivors include her devoted daughter Mickie Ambrose and her husband Paul of Seymour, a grandson Paul Ambrose Jr and his wife Marie of Seymour, 3 great-grandchildren Jamie Ambrose of Seymour, David Ambrose and his wife Julia of Shelton, and Dawn Cavaliere and her husband James of Stratford, 2 great-great-grandchildren Reese and Quinn, 2 brothers Leo and Albert Fillippino, a sister Lydia Dukes, Friend Art Santo Lupo and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. De Salle's family would like to thank the 4th floor staff of Lord Chamberlain HCC, especially Dee Miller RN for their kind and loving care. Funeral services and interment in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford are private, and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
