Josephine C. Peschell, age 92, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Peschell, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026.

Josephine was born in Bridgeport on August 22, 1934, to the late John B. and Florence (DePalma) Cervone Sr. and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a retired bookkeeper for Lodus Automotive Service. Jo enjoyed many trips with her husband, family and friends, and trips to the casinos.

Survivors include her devoted son, Kenneth J. Peschell and his wife April of Alabama, cherished grandchildren, Justin (Roseanne), Chance (Charity), and Kameron, 4 adored great-grandchildren, Sam (Kayley), Zaeden, Amelia, and Aliza, brothers, Angelo (Camille) Cervone, Louis (Joyce) Cervone, and John B. (Patricia) Cervone Jr., sisters, Florence Roy and Joan Hongo, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Stephen Church 6948 Main Street Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
