Joseph M. Roginielewicz, age 69, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Silver Springs Nursing Home in Meriden. He was born in Bridgeport on December 23, 1956, the son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Polyak) Roginielewicz. Joe spent much of his life in Connecticut before later relocating to Massachusetts, where he proudly served as a Massachusetts State Trooper prior to his retirement.

Joe had a love for flying planes, enjoyed listening to music, and was a fan of the New England Patriots. He will be remembered for these passions and the life he lived.

He is survived by his first cousins, Sandra Ebersole, Bernadette Hodgkinson, and his second cousin, Dawn Bobko and numerous others.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Silver Springs Nursing Home for the care, compassion, and support they provided to Joe throughout his time there.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a prayer service beginning at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. David Cochran, at Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Stratford.
