Joseph Paul Rennie, age 64 of Stratford, the beloved husband of Ethel Dolan Rennie, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in his home. Born on October 1, 1958, in Patton, PA to the late John and Louise (Miller) Rennie, his family moved to Connecticut when he was young and has been a resident since, graduating from Bunnell High School. Joe was a plumber for Schick for over 40 years and was set to retire in October and move to North Carolina to be near his daughter and grandchildren. He was an avid horseshoe player and a member of the Valley Horseshoe League. Joe was also a member of the FDIC, the Moose Club and the Elk Club. He was a huge NY Mets fan but loved to spend his Sundays watching football. Joe was always there and willing to lend a hand to anyone at any time.  Survivors in addition to beloved wife include his daughter, Sharon Rhoton and her husband James of Maple Hill, NC, his grandchildren, Kamryn and Brayden, stepchildren, Timmy, Trina and Melissa, step grandchildren, Cecily, Kaden, Nate, Christian, Jordan and Braiden, Step great-grandchildren, Zane, Rail'a and Halo, his sisters, Mary Lou Wilcoxson and Karen Phillips and her husband Keith, a brother-in law Theodore Balga, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Jack Rennie and a sister, Lois Balga. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, July 5th from 4-7 in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Thursday, July 6th meeting directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, 297 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Interment will be private. T
