Joseph R. Liscinsky, age 74 of Stratford died Sunday, April 15, 2007 in his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport to the late Stephen and Anna Fedorko Liscinsky, Joe has been a life long area resident. He was a retired Marketing Engineer with G.E. Capital and was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict where he was awarded the Purple Heart. After his discharge during the 1960's Joe trained with the Navy Seals in Norfolk VA. He is a member of the Connecticut Underwater Divers Association "CUDA" and was a diving instructor at Yale University. He was also a member of the Slovak Alliance. Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years Margaret Ciaffone Liscinsky; a son Joseph J. Liscinsky Sr. and his wife Robyn of Milford; a daughter Beverly Seifried of Suffolk, VA; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 10:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 11:00 am in Calvary Church 498 White Plains Road Trumbull with the Pastor David McIntyre officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will take in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 pm
