Joseph G. Bucko Jr., age 80 of Seymour and previously of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Barbara Durica Bucko, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2018 in Shady Knolls Health Center, Seymour. Born in Bridgeport, on December 4, 1937 to the late Joseph and Dorothy Bucko. Joe was a graduate of Bullard Havens Technical School, and was a retired Tool and Die Maker. He loved to play cards and pool, was an avid gun owner and enjoyed watching war movies. In addition to his beloved wife of 61 years, Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Bucko III (Maria), his daughter, Debbie McSperrin (Bruce), two grandsons, Zack McSperrin and Max McSperrin a granddaughter, Grace McSperrin, his sister, Barbara Rocco, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his daughter, Penny, his son, Jeffrey and sister, Dorothy. Friends may greet the family on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2-5 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise green Place Stratford. Prayers will be at 4:30pm. Interment will be private.
