Joseph Lawrence Alberti Sr, age 87, of Stratford, the beloved husband of Catherine Guarisco Alberti, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Derby on January 13, 1937, to Lawrence Joseph and Mary Georgian (Powers) Alberti, he had been a lifelong area resident living in Stratford since 1965. Joe was a graduate of Fairfield Prep class of 1954 and graduated from Manhattan College in 1959 with a Civil Engineering Degree. After college he enlisted in the United States army and was stationed in Germany. After the military service he worked until his retirement for Kasper Associates. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 63 years include his devoted children, Joseph L Alberti Jr, Debra Alberti and Karen Alberti, his cherished grandchildren, William Alberti, Joseph Alberti-Ortiz, Henry Guasp IV, Marissa Guasp and Michael Guasp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 10 AM directly in St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. All other services will be private. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
