John A. Popsun Sr., Age 90, Beloved husband of 67 years to Goldie Andricovich Popsun, died Saturday, September 24, 2005 in St. Vincent's Medical Center Bridgeport. Born in Connellsville, PA to the late Anthony and Eva Popsun, he has resided in Trumbull for the last 50 years and was a retired foreman for Carpenter Steel. Survivors include his wife Goldie; a son John A. Popsun Jr. and his wife Pat of Wilbraham, MA; 3 grandchildren John M. Popsun of North Hampton, MA, Thomas Popsun and his wife Rikki of Andover, MA and Carol Staras and her husband Michael of Boylston, MA; 4 great-grandchildren: Anna and Megan Popsun and Sabrina and Valerie Staras; 1 brother Frank Popsun of FLA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 10:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 11:00 am in St. Teresa's RC Church Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of the services.
