John Makusevich Jr., age 65, of Stratford, beloved husband of Carol Mottram Makusevich, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. John, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War was born in Bridgeport to Anna (Hopko) Makusevich of Stratford and the late John Makusevich Sr., and has been a life long area resident. He was a graduate of Stratford High School and had been employed as a Warehouse Supervisor for Hi-Tech Packaging of Stratford. Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include his devoted children Lynette Pacenti of Shelton, Nicole Makusevich and her companion Scott Bradley and Jonathan Makusevich, all of Stratford, 3 grandchildren Christian Bradley, and Rachel and Josh Pacenti. In addition to his father he was pre-deceased by his brother Wayne. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 20th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment with full military honors will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
