John Felicella, age 98, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Joanne Smith Felicella, passed away on September 1, 2024.

John was born in Bridgeport on August 16, 1926, to the late Francesco and Lina (Tramontana) Felicella and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was retired from Olympus Construction Company. He enjoyed his bird making hobby and was happiest being in Florida, enjoying the warm weather and working tirelessly keeping his property beautiful. He lived a very fulfilling life at the age of 98.

Survivors include his devoted children, John Felicella, David Felicella and his wife Jackie, and Ann Richard and her husband Mark, cherished grandchildren, Lisa (Dan) Maxwell, Tom Rubenstein, Melissa (James) Doucette, Jessica Bargo, and Seth Richard, great-grandchildren, Carl and Daniel Maxwell, Caden and Thomas Rubenstein, and Benjamin and Johnny Doucette, sister, June DeBenedetto and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, John was pre-deceased by his brothers and sisters, Vincent Felicella, Michael Russo, Nora Odice, Connie Molise, Dora Grosso, Barbara McDougal, and Sonita Capozziello.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
