John F. Buzik Sr. age 78 of Stratford died Friday, November 24, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport to the late John J. Buzik and Agatha Miskaj Buzik he has been a life long area resident and was a retired machine operator for the Southern Connecticut Gas Company. He was the widower of Margot Gowing Buzik who passed away July 09, 2006. Survivors include a son John F. Buzik Jr. of Shelton and daughter Kathy Edgell and her husband Robert of Moreno Valley, CA.; six grandchildren, Edward, Chris, Brandy, Jonathon, Ryan and Micah, eleven great grandchildren Chanelle, Caylee, Justin, Sydney, Erin, Jarin, Patrick, Trevor, Spencer, John Peter, and Timothy; a sister Ann Yurasek of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, November 28th from 4-8 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Prayer Service will take place Tuesday at 6:30 pm with the Rev. Robert Stuhlman officiating. A committal service will take place on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 10:00 am in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ Episcopal Church Bell Tower Fund.
