Jeanne C. Lindeman Elsasser, age 80, of Stratford, beloved wife of Arthur Elsasser, passed away on Monday April 2, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital. Jeanne, a retired manager for the Fairfield Citizen Newspaper, was born in Elmira, New York to the late Henry V. and Helen Bridge Lindeman and has been a long time area resident. She was an active Easter Seals volunteer for many years. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband include her devoted children Mark Elsasser and his wife JoAnna, Leigh Basta and her husband Keith all of Stratford, and Edward Elsasser of NJ, her cherished grandson Alex, a brother Lee N. Lindeman and his special friend Betsy of Cape Cod and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 7th at 11:30 a.m. in the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church 1045 Old Academy Road Fairfield, CT. 06824. Interment will be private.
