Jeanne Bayus Hall, age 95, of Bridgeport, the beloved widow of Edward John Hall, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family, her 2 daughters and her 2 beloved dogs, Thor and Loki. She was born in Bridgeport on June 19, 1931, to the late Stephen and Ann (Herzog) Bayus and has been a lifelong Bridgeport resident. Jeanne was a retired teacher for the Fairfield Board of Education, spending her entire career at Holland Hill Elementary School, teaching First and Third grade

Jeanne enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the women’s group at Fairchild Wheeler and Tashua Knolls Country Clubs. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge and Duckpin Bowling. She was very proud of the fact that she was named “Best Female Athlete” of her High School Class at Harding High School, class of 1949. Jeanne enjoyed watching the UCONN Women Huskies and has been to several games over the years. She continued watching the former Huskies in the WNBA.

Survivors include her devoted daughters, Tracey Ann Kelly and Tami Ann Hall-Reynolds, her loving grandchildren, Brian Edward Kelly, Sean Edward Reynolds and his wife Carolina and Scott Michael Reynolds, a cherished great-granddaughter, Johanna Grace Reynolds. In addition to her in husband Eddie and parents, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Barry Kelly.

Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, September 9th from 4-7pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl., Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10th at 10am in St Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
