Jean D. McCann Windt, age 90, of Stratford, Connecticut, the widow of Jack P. Windt, passed away on, Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Windt, a retired Supervisor in the Physical Therapy Department at Stamford Hospital, was born in Port Austin, Michigan to the late John and Della (Perdue) McCann, and has been a long time Stratford resident. She was a graduate of Michigan State University, and received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy form the University of Bridgeport. Prior to Stamford Hospital, Jean had worked for Bridgeport Rehabilitation. She was an avid traveler, and had traveled all over the world, with the Physical Therapy Association. Jean was a strong, beautiful, confident woman, who was an inspiration to all. Survivors include her devoted sons Richard Windt and his wife Donna of Stratford, and Jonathan Windt and his wife Barbara of San Diego, CA, 3 cherished grandchildren Natalie, Kelly and Kevin, a brother Thomas McCann of Seattle, WA, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by her daughter Jill. Funeral services and interment are private, and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
