Jean D. Leonetti, age 90, of Stratford, passed away on July 3, 2024.

Jean was born in Bridgeport on January 9, 1934, to the late John and Laura (Riccio) Del Vecchio and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Stratford High School and earned her degree at New York Institute of Dietetic.  Jean retired from the Public Relations Department at the Southern Connecticut Gas Company.

Survivors include her devoted children, Christine Capozziello and her husband Joseph of Ansonia and Philip J. Leonetti of South Dakota, 3 cherished grandchildren, Anthony Capozziello and fiancée Kenzie Johnson, Stephanie Leonetti and partner Devin Stratton, and Christopher Leonetti and wife Mary Ambrosino, a brother, Daniel Del Vecchio and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Jean loved to spend time with family and friends.  She was an avid fan of the UConn women's basketball team and always enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra or going to the Cricket for a long dog.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford.
