Jean Laboranti of Bridgeport, the beloved widow of James Laboranti, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, in her home.

Born in Jessup, Pennsylvania on October 22, 1921, to the late Michael and Anna (Zeock) Wally, she has been a   Bridgeport resident most of her life. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and watching them grow.

Survivors include her 3 devoted daughters, Jean Petrucelli of Shelton, Joan Cederbaum and her husband Neil of Trumbull and Janet Marcil and her husband David of Ganaevoort, NY, 7 cherished grandchildren, Kimberly Walden and her husband Jeff, Karen DeGonzague and her husband Ben, Rachel Klauser and her husband Jeff, James Petrucelli and his wife Sara, Alison, Megan and Lauren Cederbaum, 5 great-grandchildren, Olivia and Zoey Klauser, Roco Petrucelli, Stephen and David Waldin, Several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her husband and her son-in-law Joseph Petrucelli.

The family would like to thank Bea Akuamoah for the excellent care she provided over the last 3½ years. Her kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 22 ^nd from 9-10:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery Monroe.
