Eugenia (Jean) Mary (Konen) Kapisovsky, age 80 of Stratford, passed away February 20, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mrs. Kapisovsky was born in Bridgeport, and was a lifelong resident of Stratford. Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and an active member of Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, a member of the Town of Stratford Senior Baldwin Center, a SOKOL USA member, member of the Milford and Westport Squares square dancing group, and a member of the Oaks III Condominium Association of Port Charlotte, Florida. She was a graduate of Bullard Havens Technical School, Bridgeport in Domestic Arts & Homemaking and a graduate of Butler Business School, Bridgeport and was an avid seamstress, quilter, beach lover and gardener. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Demeter (Marty) Kapisovsky of Stratford, three children, Susan Kapisovsky of Framingham, MA, Tina Kapisovsky (Eckart) of Milford,, David Kapisovsky of Stratford,; one brother-in-law Andrew Fazekas of Stratford, two sister-in-laws, Anna Fazekas and Grace Konen, both of Stratford; five grandchildren, Travis, Summer, Vienne Bella, Michael , May; and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 205 at 9:15 AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10AM at Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, 1540 East Main Street, Bridgeport. Internment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7PM. Panchida will be at 4:30PM.
