Jason T. Claus found peace on November 19, 2023. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on January 7, 1980.  Jay was a gentle soul who was taken from this life much too soon. He was the son of Mary Rick and Tom (Sue) Claus. Besides his parents, he leaves behind his sisters Lindsay Claus (his confidant), Allie Cristante  and Emily Claus, niece Cami Cristante and nephew "CJ" Cristante, his paternal grandmother Dorothy Claus, his uncle Frank (Peggy) Claus, his "second mom" Aunt Deb (Mike) Henning, cousins Lowell, Tiffany, Justin, and Carlee Claus and Amanda and Mikey (Catie) Henning, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Jay loved sports of all kinds and was sure to share the highlights and lowlights with his dad. He was an avid Yankees fan and loved The Beatles. He was a collector of baseball cards and anything related to Batman. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially holiday get-togethers. He will be truly missed. On the evening of the day he passed, the clouds formed a very clear "JC" in the sky. Jason Claus, we know you are in good hands.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, Connecticut.
