Janet R. Tolomeo, age 75, of Stratford, CT and Melbourne, FL, beloved wife of Attorney Robert Tolomeo (Ret. State Police), passed away on September 3, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Janet was born in Bridgeport on September 6, 1946, to the late Salvatore and Laurine (Derose) Basso and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School, class of 1964, and was a retired office manager for her father's real estate business and had previously worked at Sikorsky Aircraft. Janet will be remembered as a devoted, loving, kind and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 52 years include her devoted daughters, Lisa Florentino and her husband Dean of Shelton, and Jennifer Bazso and her husband Charles of Stratford, her cherished grandson, Charles Robert Bazso, sister, Laurie Katz and her husband Richard, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Janet was pre-deceased by her sister, Charlene.

Visitation on Thursday, September 8 ^th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be private.
