Janet Colleen Schreckengost, age 70, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on February 9, 2026, in her home. 

Janet was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1955, to the late Lloyd and Eileen (Kuntz) Schreckengost and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1973 and was a retired Medical Technician.

Survivors include her devoted siblings, Joy Patchell, Jill Schreckengost, and Kevin Schreckengost, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on Friday June 12th from 4-6p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
