Janet A. Fisher, age 54 of Bridgeport, died Saturday, March 1, 2007 in her home. Born in Bridgeport to the late Arthur J and Adeline (Bruno) Garber, she has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Notre Dame High School of Fairfield in 1971 and then from the Bridgeport School of Radiology and has been an x-ray technician and receptionist for Immediate Health Care of Monroe. Survivors include her beloved husband of 34 years Ernest Fisher Jr; her devoted children: Katie Fisher of Bridgeport, Coreen Zealor and her husband Dan of Seymour and Ernest Fisher III and his wife Megan of Southington; her cherished grandchildren Daniel and Carson Zealor; a brother Arthur Garber of Fairfield and a sister Laurie Stofko and her husband John of Monroe; nieces and nephews: Melissa Smith and her husband Eric of Milford, Artie Garber of Fairfield and Jeffrey and Kyle Stofko of Monroe. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2008 at 9:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Council Church 163 Ortega Street Bridgeport. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
