James P. Pall, age 88 of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2011 in St. Joseph Manor Trumbull, CT. He was the beloved husband of Anne Molnar Pall who will cherish loving memories of their wonderful 65 years of marriage. Jim was the son of James and Elizabeth Mika Pall of Fairfield and was born on July 18, 1923. He was a 1941 graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, CT. James served in the Army Air Corps with the 47th bombardment group during World War II. Jim earned his BS degree at the University of Bridgeport in the first graduating class in 1949 and a Master of Science in 1961 from the same institution. Jim was a registered school business official and was the school business administrator in Trumbull and Ridgefield. He was also elected as president of Connecticut Association of school business officials. Jim proudly served his community as the chairman of the Trumbull High School building committee (1968) using his educational training and business experience to lead and assist the committee and school administration in completion of the facility. He was responsible for the school being built a full year ahead of schedule and under budget. Jim was the first chairman of the Hungarian graduate student scholarship committee of the Halsey International scholarship committee at the University of Bridgeport and retired as president of West Lyon Farm Properties in Greenwich.
He was a lifetime member of the United Church of Christ in Bridgeport and member of St. John's Lodge #3 AF&AM of Fairfield for over 50 years. Jim is survived by his dear wife Anne, grandson Scott Pall Warner of Arlington, VA, granddaughter Brooke Walsh of Annapolis, MD, a sister Edith P. McNamara and husband Paul of West Lebanon, NH. He is also survived by a niece Claudia-Margitay Balogh and her husband Joseph of Stratford, CT, his sister in-law Dorothy Paton of Murrells Inlet, SC, nephews Christopher Paton and wife Shauna of Milford, CT, Daniel Paton and wife Laura of Bristol, CT and niece Kathleen Childers and husband Roy of Belmar, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 3rd in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl. Stfd. with the Reverend John Olson of the United Church of Christ, Laurel Avenue Bpt. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery Stratford. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 10:30a m until the time of service.
