James Matthew "Jim" Angeski, age 50, died suddenly on March 24, 2015 at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was born in Bridgeport on March 7, 1965 and spent his childhood growing up in Stratford. He is survived by two cherished daughters, Charlotte Rosalie and Grace Ellen Angeski. Jim was predeceased by his father, John F. "Jack" Angeski and his sister Susan Lee (Angeski) Lewis. In addition to his beloved mother Ellen Marie (Gerte) Angeski, Jim is survived by his sisters: Linda and Spencer Bass; Carolyn and George Kyzer; Beth and Edward McCormick; and his brother Daniel and Michele Angeski. Along with several nieces and nephews: Alivia Barry and Bailey Angeski; Daniel and Caitlin McCormick; George, Jack, and Matthew Kyzer; and Spencer and Mitchell Bass. Jim is also survived by Daniel Lewis; Betty Baronowski and Harry Paoletti; and Raymond and Sandra Gerte. A 1983 graduate of Bunnell High School and 1992 graduate of the Denver Automotive and Diesel College, Jim was employed by Florida Power & Light for over 20 years. He was an amazing cook, baker and collector of good music. He had a passion for classic cars and Harley Davidsons. Jim was a grateful and loving father, an adored and cherished son, and an unforgettable brother who will be missed. Funeral services will take place on Monday April 13, 2015 from 8:30am to 10:00am at Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am in Saint James Church, Stratford with Rev. Bruce Roby officiating. Interment will be private. Those desiring may make donations in Jim's memory to the Angeski Memorial Scholarships at Stratford High School or Bunnell High School, Stratford.
